You're wiring 3-way switches for a light. Where do the wires go?
Answer - 3-way switches can be installed several ways, but every combination is wired in the same manner. The hot wire that brings the power in goes to the common terminal (screw) on one of the switches, and the neutral wire goes to the light. The wire connected to the common terminal on the other switch also goes to the light, and supplies the power when it's turned on. Attached to the other screws are two wires that connect the switches, called travelers.
