You're trimming a window or door, and part of the jamb sits in from the surface of a sheetrocked wall, so the trim board won't lay tight against it. What do you do?

Answer - Soften the edge of the sheetrock, which is just a nice way of saying that you lightly hit it with a hammer. This is generally all it takes for narrow trim (2 1/4-inch) to fit tight against the jamb.
